Thank you, Melissa From: Joy Lutz <joy.lutz@yahoo.com> Sent: Sunday, May 5, 2024 3:50 PM To: Kitts, Melissa <mkitts@buttecounty.net> Subject: Pictures, etc. attached regarding May 14 Supervisor Meeting / Code Enforcement Property Clearing RE: 66 Green Cedar Way, Berry Creek, CA Hello, My name is Joy Lutz, new owner of property 66 Green Cedar Way, Berry Creek, CA. I was at the last meeting from April 9 and noted there will be a huge lien on this property which I did not own in the years of 2022/2023 which is the years the cleanup was supposedly done. The owner at that time was Tyron Frazier / Northern Sierra Estates, LLC who bought this property from me in April 2021. I had no knowledge that he had illegal plants on this property with several greenhouses placed on it. Now the county is wanting to place the $60,106.20 lien on this property even though it is now owned by someone else. I plan to be at the meeting on May 14. My hope is that this information can be put before the supervisors so they have the correct information. Also, because of the property being "cleaned" off for that price, I had gone to the property after the last meeting and took these pictures which shows there is still plenty still left on that property. I assumed for $60,106. that all of the plastic and other items would also have been removed. Is this something I will be responsible to remove at my own cost? I'm a 69 y/o senior widow on Social Security. This is not only surprising, which now know I was scammed on this property from Mr. Frazier (and may not be the only one from Butte County), but this isn't something I'm prepared to have to personally remove everything off this property to not be a further "nuisance". I did contract with an attorney which I'm hoping can help me through this process, but I'm also wanting the board to realize I did not own this property in the last 3 years. Thank you for your time. I don't know if this can actually go to the board before the May 14th meeting, but thought I would at least try. Joy Lutz 916-215-1382
