User comment: On Behalf of Teamsters Local 137, the negotiation's teams, and our dedicated
members, we would like to thank the Board of Supervisors, the CAO, HR Director Sheri
Waters and Assistant Director Aaron Quinn for the countless hours that went into this year's
MOU negotiations. The members are appreciative of the increase in wages, but most
importantly the investment you have made in retention with the addition of longevity and
contributions towards future health care increases. We are hopeful that the work that went into
this MOU will assist in the recruitment and retention of quality staff within the County and
that Butte will now be a place where employees will want to remain throughout their careers,
rather than gaining training and experience prior to moving on. Thank you again for your
efforts in investing in staff. We look forward to continuing to work with you all.
