Authorization Request for Spillway Repairs

Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) submittal package for a spillway
repair project at Bucks Storage Dam, which is a part of the Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project,
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 619.
The proposed work plan for the repair project is enclosed with this letter (Enclosure 1) along with
the quality control inspection program (QCIP) (Enclosure 2).
PG&E’s plans to release the repair project to construction on June 30, 2025, to support
construction mobilization on August 1, 2025. PG&E plans to provide a final construction report
within 90 days of completing construction, otherwise PG&E will provide an update on the project
status and a plan and schedule for further action by February 28, 2026.
PG&E respectfully requests FERC authorization to proceed with the spillway repairs. Should you
