ENCLOSURE CONTAINS CUI//CEII – DO NOT RELEASE
Dear Acting Division Manager:
This letter returns the superseded certificate of approval dated June 6, 1991, for Round
Valley Dam (State Dam No. 97-009). In a letter dated March 26, 2025, the California
Department of Water Resources, Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD), enclosed an
amended certificate of approval and requested the return of the superseded certificate. In a
phone conversation with your office, DSOD approved PG&E’s returning a photocopy of the
1966 certificate because the original copy is unavailable.
The superseded certificate of approval dated July 20, 1966, is provided in (Enclosure 1).
