This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) responses to address the
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) comments (C-1 through C-9) on the
emergency action plans and dam breach analysis and inundation maps for Bucks Storage Dam,
Bucks Diversion Dam, Grizzly Forebay Dam, and Three Lakes Dam, which are part of PG&E’s
Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 619. PG&E received FERC’s comments in a letter
dated May 2, 2025.
PG&E's plan and schedule to address C-1 through C-8 and response to C-9 are enclosed with
this letter (Enclosure 1).
PG&E believes C-9 has been satisfactorily addressed based on the information enclosed with this
letter and no further action is necessary. Should you have technical questions concerning this

In a letter to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) dated May 2, 2025, the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) provided Comments 1 through 9 (C-1 through
C-9) regarding the 2021 emergency action plans and dam breach analysis for Bucks
Storage Dam, Bucks Diversion Dam, Grizzly Forebay Dam, and Three Lakes Dam,
which are part of PG&E’s Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 619. PG&E will
evaluate if additional dam breach modeling scenarios are required to address C-1
through C-8 and will provide responses to those comments by June 30, 2026. For
reference, C-9 is copied below, followed by PG&E's response.
C-9: The plan and schedule to submit updated Geographic Information System (GIS)
files for the most current inundation maps by June 30, 2023 has elapsed. Submit
an extension of time request to submit the inundation maps.
PG&E provided its updated GIS files for the most current inundation maps i n a February
16, 2024, letter to FERC. PG&E believes the information provided in that letter
satisfactorily addressed C-9.
