DHCS Updates FAQ on Medi-Cal Data Sharing with CMS The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) recently posted an updated frequently asked questions (FAQ) regarding eligibility for Medi-Cal. The FAQ clarifies what type of Medi-Cal data DHCS is required to share with CMS under federal law and provides resources on qualified nonprofit organizations that provide immigration-related services in California. Public Comment Now Open: BHSA Population-Based Prevention Program Guide Phase 1 The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recently released the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Population-Based Prevention Program Guide – Phase 1 for public comment. The guide, which is being released in two parts, provides information about the BHSA, Population- Based Prevention Program requirements, statewide goals, and state level leadership and alignment activities. CSAC Institute Congratulates Trinity County Graduates Please join the CSAC Institute to congratulate recent Trinity County Graduates, Buck Simmons and Ivana Thomas! These Trinity County Leaders earned their credentials at the Humboldt County Campus over an intensive 5-month session. Each course was taught by a skilled facilitator in their field and offered practical applications and “take home” values through adult-centered instructional approaches that encouraged interaction with peers.
