Subject: Support for Proposed Amendments to BCTBID
Dear Honorable Chair and Board Members,
I am writing to forward a letter expressing my strong support for the proposed amendments
to the Butte County Tourism Business Improvement District (BCTBID).
As an operator of lodging businesses in Butte County, I believe these amendments—such as
eliminating the room-count threshold, including short-term vacation rentals, and adjusting
assessment rates—will significantly strengthen our tourism efforts and benefit the local
economy.
