In response to letters from the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQB) dated September 1, 2023, which was amended on January 4, 2024, and June 27, 2024, and from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) on September 15, 2024, PG&E has provided CDFW and CVRWQB with the requested monitoring reports and data. PG&E provided FERC the water quality monitoring reports and data from February 2024 through February 2025 on December 31, 2024, February 7, 2025, March 19, 2025, April 22, 2025, and June 17, 2025, respectively. PG&E is enclosing the June 2025 reports and data for the record. The June 2025 water quality monitoring reports and data are enclosed with this submittal (Enclosures 1 and 2, respectively). PG&E is currently directed to continuously monitor turbidity and water temperature at four locations i.e., Above Butte Head Dam, Forks of Butte Recreation Area, Lower Centerville Diversion Dam , and Centerville Powerhouse (Figure 1). Reporting is required biweekly (i.e., every two weeks) to the CVRWQCB. Ongoing continuous monitoring data for turbidity and water temperature collected at Lower Centerville Diversion Dam and Centerville Powerhouse is required to be reported monthly to the CVRWQCB. This biweekly report includes data (turbidity and water temperature) collected from the four water quality monitoring locations (Figure 2). All data starts on Oct 1, 2024, as a new water year. Note: a column labeled ‘DFlag’ has been added to the data worksheet which calls out data that has been flagged. Also added is the ‘DFLAGLegend’ worksheet with provides an explanation of the flags.
