Webber 13166 Jackson Street, Chico CA 95973 Subject: Approval of Merger Certificate (MER25-0002); APNs 047-170-024 & 047-170-025 Dear Applicant, On July 28, 2025, the Department of Development Services found that the Certificate of Merger on the above-referenced property is exempt from environmental review and approved the project. Once the 10-day appeal period ends (August 7, 2025), you will be able to record the Certificate of Merger beginning Friday, August 8, 2025. You will need the following documents for recording at the Clerk Recorder’s Office: • Certificate of Merger – with Wet Signature • Owner’s Certificate • Legal Description – with surveyor stamp and signature • Plat – with surveyor stamp and signature (Recording documents are available for pick-up at Butte County Development Services) A Clerk Recording Fee is due when you record your certificate of merger at the Clerk Recorder’s Office located at 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville. Once you record the merger, please provide a copy of the recorded document to the Planning Division for the merger to take effect or wait for final approval when the Clerk Recorder’s Office posts the merger recordation on their website. Should you choose to appeal the decision of the Dept. of Development Services to the Planning Commission, please submit your appeal, in writing, together with the appeal fee of $797.97, to the Department of Development Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965, before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024.
