Please exercise judgment before opening attachments, clicking on links, or replying.. I am glad to see here and in item 4.10 that the voters' largesse might help Butte County retain our seconds-in- command in case the department heads should require leave or choose to retire. Since I had advocated for this in April, I made sure to read this item carefully and noted that the contract with Cynthia D. Wilde incorrectly states her position's classification as 117001 when it should be 10701. This illustrates why these agenda submittals should be searchable text rather than unsearchable images of text like the numerous Behavioral Health agreements I mentioned in June. It is much easier to compare one contract to another and catch discrepancies when the original text of each is preserved. I support the recommended raises, including the higher salary range in our understaffed, overburdened public safety departments. This is why we voted yes on H. Congratulations to all.
