Work will take place starting at Nopel Avenue and end just before Carpenter Ridge Road, a stretch that includes the area around Addison Road. Crews will repave the highway, upgrade guardrails, refresh pavement markings and signs, and make other safety improvements. Work is scheduled Mondays through Fridays, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Thursday through the middle of September. Traffic Impacts: · One-way traffic control with pilot car will be in effect during construction hours. · Drivers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes and plan for extra travel time. · Nearby communities that may experience travel impacts include Cohasset, Forest Ranch, Hamilton City, Magalia, and Nord. Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
