We've lived here for 23 years. We appreciate our volunteer responders and are concerned about their having to drive 15 minutes out to get a truck and then 15 minutes back up to respond to incidents at or above Concow lake. Most of the responders that can drive the trucks live in the area of Concow lake or above. Concow road is a good road but not if responders have to drive fast. Their safety is at risk every time they respond. Replacing and keeping a truck at station 38 will greatly reduce the risk of an accident and shorten response times by about 20-30 minutes. Please, for the safety of our responders keep a truck stationed at station 38. Thank you.
