Re: Spillway Assessment Reports for Little Grass Valley and Sly Creek Dams
Dear Mr.Moseley:
This is in response to two letters from Ms. Kristen McKillop dated November
14, 2020 and November 23,2020 that transmitted the Spillway Assessment Reports for
Sly Creek and Little Grass Valley Dams, parts of the South Feather Water and Power
Project, FERC No. 2088.We have reviewed the submittals, and we have the following
comment:
We support your ongoing efforts to make repairs at both spillways. As a
reminder, it is crucial to coordinate with our office when proposed repairs
are in the early planning phase in the event a formal construction
authorization package is required to be filed and our authorization to
perform the repairs is required.No response to this comment is required.
We appreciate your cooperation in this aspect of our dam safety program.If you
have any questions,please contact Mr.Wes Cooley at (415) 369-3340.
