Subject: Fire Engine and Water Tender at Fire Station 38 in Concow
Our family is writing in support for housing a fire engine and water tender at FireStation 38 in the Concow Basin. This is VERY important for the safety of ourresidents here in our community. We had the 2 largest fires in California's historystart in our community in Jarbo Gap, caused by faulty PG&E equipment whichdemonstrates the obvious need of a fire engine and water tender at Fire Station38 in the Concow Basin. For example our power pole which holds a transformerand that was cracked and just about falling down, was only just replaced byPG&E last week. We have been waiting over 3 years for this replacement. Howmany other residents are waiting for safe equipment and poles from PG&E.Having a fire truck and water tender in Concow Basin Fire Station 38 will helpmitigate these dangerous situations and lightning fires. We HAVE TO HAVE AWAY TO PUT OUT THESE FIRES that is located here in our neighborhood to keeppeople from dying and losing their homes.
