Attached is a veto request for AB 339 (Ortega) Local Public Employee Organizations: Notice
Requirements that was submitted today with Andy’s signature.
AB 339 relates to the County’s ability to contract for services. The Board previously approved a letter
of opposition. The bill has been approved by both houses and is on the way to the Governor,
prompting the need for an updated letter.
