APPLICATION FOR ONE DAY EXEMPTION TO HAUL WASTE TIRES

1.Once approved, this document shall accompany the load of waste tires while being hauled. Failure to present
this document to landfill staff upon arrival at landfill may result in being turned away. This document shall
also be presented to any uniform peace officer, authorized agent of the BCLEA, or authorized agent of
Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) upon request.
2.This document only grants the transportation of waste tires to the aforementioned location and does not
allow the transportation of waste tires for hire.
3.Provide a minimum of 14 days notice prior to the proposed date to allow time for approval process.
4.Applicant shall submit written verification (i.e., a copy of Landfill Receipt) of proper disposal of tires to BC LEA
within seven days of disposal.

Pursuant to Public Resource Code Section 42954 (a) (7), this Department hereby grants the above applicant
permission to haul more than 10 waste tires to aforementioned location on the date specified. These waste
tires shall be hauled in the vehicle as described above.
