Dear Mark Gambardella,
On September 3, 2025 the Zoning Administrator found your project exempt from CEQA and approved the
Map Amendment on the above referenced property.
After the ten (10) day appeal period, which falls on Monday, September 15, 2025 barring an appeal you
may contact the Public Works Department, Kim Hunter (khunter@buttecounty.net) to record the Certificate of Correction pursuant to the attached conditions.

Certificate of Corrections for Mark Gambardella on APNs: 040-650-011, -013, -014 File # COR25-0001
The proposed correction would fix the homesite location sizes indicated on Parcels 1, 2, & 3 from .25
acres each as drawn, to .5 acres each. The proposed amendment would relocate the homesite locations to
92ft back from the front property line.
The project site is located on the county-maintained Cummings Road in unincorporated Butte County,
roughly 20ft west of Cummings Lane at APNs: 040-650-011, 040-650-013, & 040-650-014.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:

1. The subject certificate of correction/map amendment is based upon and limited to compliance with the
project description, the exhibit map under Attachment B, and the conditions of approval set forth below.
Any deviations from the project description, exhibit map, or conditions must be reviewed and approved
by the County for conformity with this approval. Deviations may require approval by the reviewing
authority.
Butte County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office
2. Future residential development inside the designated homesite areas on the certificate of correction
/map amendment, will require review by the Ag Commissioner’s office prior to approval or issuance of a building permit.
Department of Public Works
3. The property owners shall submit a Certificate of Correction amending the recorded map, Book 146, Page 65. The certificate shall be prepared by a licensed professional and submitted to the County Surveyor for review in compliance with the Subdivision Map Act and County Code. Upon approval by the County Surveyor, the Certificate of Correction shall be recorded with the Butte County Recorder’s Office. The property owners shall be responsible for all associated processing and recording fees.
