Washington, D.C. 20426 RE: Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 619-CA Annual Historic Properties Management Plan Implementation Report Forest Service 4(e) Condition No. 58 ENCLOSURE CONTAINS PRIVILEGED INFORMATION (CUI//PRIV) – DO NOT RELEASE Dear Secretary Bose: This letter is regarding Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and the City of Santa Clara’s (Licensees) Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 619. FERC issued a new license for the Bucks Creek Project (Project) on June 16, 2022 (License). A Programmatic Agreement (PA) was executed for the Project on September 13, 2021. Article 404 of the License requires Licensees to implement the approved PA and Historic Properties Management Plan (HPMP). United States Forest Service (Forest Service) 4(e) Condition No. 58 (Condition No. 58) of the License requires the Licensee to implement the HPMP. The HPMP requires the Licensees to file the Annual HPMP Implementation Report (Enclosure 1). Per the PA, the Licensees will hold an Annual HPMP Meeting. The Annual HPMP Meeting was held on July 18, 2023; agenda and meeting notes are included in Attachment B of Enclosure 1. The PA requires the draft Annual HPMP Implementation Report to be shared with consulting parties 31 days prior to the meeting. The Draft Annual HPMP Report was provided to consulting parties on June 15, 2023. Written comments from consulting parties have been addressed in the Final HPMP Implementation Report, and a record of comments has been included in Attachment C of Enclosure 1.
