Greetings,
The California Fish and Game Commission will meet in person in
Sacramento on October 8-9, 2025.
This agenda has been revised in two ways:
Modified Item 24 commercial coonstripe shrimp fishery regular
rulemaking to update and to recommend that authorization for the
notice be continued to the December 10‑11, 2025 meeting.
Under Public Receipt of Documents, added a petition to list the
northern and southern populations of western spadefoot (Spea
hammondii) as threatened or endangered under the California
Endangered Species Act.
Members of the public are welcome to attend in person to observe or
provide public comment. The Commission plans to offer Zoom webinar
and phone options. Instructions on how to participate will be posted to
the Commission website prior to the meeting.
While the Commission will make a reasonable effort to ensure remote
access is available, it cannot guarantee the accessibility or functionality
of those options.
Please refer to the agenda for important meeting information and
deadlines.
