Re:Spillway Screening Level Portfolio Risk Analysis
Dear Mr.Cruzen:
This is in response to a letter dated June 30,2025,from Mr. David Ritzman, that
submitted a request for an extension of time to submit updated findings of the spillway
screening-level portfolio risk analyses and updated prioritized schedule for the spillway
capital improvement project (CIP)for Mokelumne River, Bucks Creek, Spring Gap-
Stanislaus, and Drum-Spaulding Projects, FERC Nos. 137, 619, 2130,and 2310. We note
that you would add five additional spillways to the risk analysis report and update two
spillways in your screening level risk analysis with results from the Level 2 risk
assessments (L2RA).We have reviewed your proposed extension of time and grant your
request to submit the updated finding report and the updated plan and schedule for the
spillway capital improvement project by February 27, 2026.
File your submittals using our eFiling system at https://www.ferc.gov/ferc-
online/overview. When eFiling, select Hydro: Dam Safety; San Francisco Regional
Office from the eFiling menu. The cover page of the filings must indicate that the
