The proposed rule text and notice of proposed emergency action can be found at this link: (https://bof.fire.ca.gov/regulations/proposed- rule-packages/). Changes from the previous regulation text are marked by underlines for additions, and strikethrough for deletions. The Board plans to submit this regulation to the Office of Administrative Law on or after October 9th, 2025. If the regulation is submitted to OAL on October 9th, the public comment period closes on October 14th, 2025. GOV § 11346.1(a)(2) requires that, at least five working days prior to submission of the proposed emergency action to OAL, the adopting agency provide a notice of the proposed emergency action with the agency. After submission of the proposed emergency to the OAL, OAL will allow interested persons five calendar days to submit comments on the proposed emergency regulations as set forth in GOV 11349.6. If you wish to comment on the adopted emergency regulations, you must submit the comment directly to the Office of Administrative Law (hereafter “OAL”) within five (5) calendar days of OAL’s posting of the proposed emergency regulations on the OAL website.
