Butte County Board of Supervisors,
I wish I could be writing to thank you for sending a road crew from Butte County out to fix Ord Ferry Rd as I
requested back in February; however, you have made my life very difficult. Now, every time I drive on Ord Ferry
Rd (frequently) I must listen to my husband complain. I’ll save you from some of his expletives but he rages about
how they made it worse than it was and did a half-ass job. He points to where they cut out the road and angrily goes
off on some tangent.
I suggested, since he attends meetings, he should get up and rage at you people - not me. I explained, “Honey, I fight
deadly shots not roads.” Thank you for taking my suggestion; however, I will be more explicit. Please fix Ord Ferry
Rd. properly!
In addition, the three road dips with the read lines on Ord Ferry Rd. The place you complain about people driving
through during the rainy season. Although fun to drive through quickly should be fixed (PROPERLY) too. They
have been there since I was a kid and I am really old. I have a niece who is a bridge engineer. Perhaps she could
advise you. She does NOT do half-ass planning. She would NEVER ruin her reputation by doing shoddy work.
