Hello,
I am a concerned citizen of Butte County who has lived in Oroville since 1969. I lost my
ex-husband to cancer and my partner to lung cancer as well. Five members of my
immediate family, including myself, who live or have lived in Oroville, suffer from type 2
diabetes. These health hazards are the result of the air quality in Oroville. There are safer ways
to clean the damage caused by the dioxin in the air of Butte County.
Please protect us by finding better solutions than the ones presented by companies with special
interests that they are trying to bring to our community.
