RE: Fire Safety Inspection for Bingo Permit
Mr. Botsford,
This letter is in reference to the inspection completed on Thursday March 4, 2010. The
items listed below are what was discussed with you at the inspection and must be rectified
before clearance can be approved for the bingo permit.
• Emergency light inoperable — must illuminate whole meeting area space
• Extinguisher must be replaced with one having a minimum rating of 2A:10B:C
• Exit Signs required over exit doors (6" high letters having 3/" inch stroke) — Signs
shall be lit whenever the building is occupied (glow -in -the -dark is OK)
• Post sign stating "This door to remain unlocked whenever the building is occupied"
over main/front entrance
• Walls in closets must be finished — maintain integrity of all walls.
• Kitchen is to be used as a "Warming Kitchen" only. No production of grease -laden
vapors.
• Post address on building, must be visible from street.
• Keep area in front of all electrical panels clear
• Cover hole in heater room — maintain integrity of all walls.
• Keep area around heater clear
• Exit doors must swing in the direction of travel (swing out)
• Second exit door must not have a locking mechanism unless it is panic hardware
(main/front exit door is ok as -is)
