Good morning. I attended the Butte County Board of Supervisors’ meeting Tuesday, October 14, 2025 where it was
discussed the confiscation of property for delinquent taxes. I direct you to the video below of then Representative
Bacerra. He states, “We want confidence in our system because it’s a voluntary system.” IRS Commissioner agrees
with then Representative Becerra three times.
Please be so kind as to supply me with the law that states people are required to pay taxes and it is not a voluntary
system. As of yet I have been unable to find this law and no one has been able to provide the law to me.
