Dear Jacob:
Thank you for contacting the Planning Division about your intention of developing an ADU
and accessory structure and trying to determine a homesite location. The parcel is zoned
AG-20. He provided an approximate location for the development. It will meet the 300-foot
setback for the ADU and also meet any required riparian setback. Based on the topography,
this location was chosen due to the levelness of the area. Planning determined it met the
intent of close proximity to the exiting residence while also meeting 300 feet from property
lines.
