I also understand it was established by a Joint Powers Agreement and that legal document specified that one of the board seats be filled by a NON-AGRICULTURAL DOMESTIC WELL USER. The domestic wells and ag wells serve two different constituencies. I recommend Jim Graydon to be appointed to the vacancy on the Visa Board. I have learned from a neighbor that “he has had a 40 year career working in water resource management, water and waste treatment, and groundwater remediation. He's presently on the Stakeholders Advisement Committee or the SHAC which makes recommendations to the VinaGSA Board so he is up to date on all the feasibility studies and issues we are facing. There is a lot of technical information to understand and Jim understands all the complicated power points when the consultants explain how they're going to spend our allotted $5.5 million grant. He knows which follow up questions to ask. He is well versed in the "language of water". He will advocate for our needs and not let the board be dominated by ag interests to the detriment of our groundwater.” Please forward my email to all the supervisors to show my support for Jim Graydon, a non- agricultural domestic well owner. Thank you, Julia Roth
