Subject: Appointment to Vina GSA Board

Dear Butte County Board of Supervisors,
I am writing to convey my whole-hearted support for the appointment of Jim Graydon to the
Vina GSA Board to represent domestic well users. I am a domestic well user in the Vina
subbasin and believe we need a strong and knowledgeable voice to represent the many
domestic well users in Butte County. I have full confidence Mr. Graydon can provide that
voice.
My Graydon has a wealth of experience as a technical consultant in water resources
management, ground water mediation, and wastewater treatment. His experience as the
Domestic Well User Representative on the Vina GSA Stakeholder Advisory Committee adds to
his qualifications for this appointment. His past positions as a board member of the CA Onsite
Wastewater Association and the CA Association of Sanitation Agencies further adds to his
qualifications for serving on the Vina GSA Board.
I have known Mr. Graydon for several decades and have found him to be reasonable,
knowledgeable, and engaging. He would be a great addition to the Vina GSA Board as a
representative for domestic well users.
