Dear Secretary Reese:
This letter provides an updated license Exhibit F-5 (Plans and Section of Bucks Creek
Powerhouse) for the Grizzly Tap Removal and Reconnection Project at Bucks Creek
Powerhouse, part of Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) Bucks Creek
Hydroelectric Project, FERC Project No. 619. A Brief Construction Report for this project
is being filed separately with the San Francisco Regional Office (SFRO).
On April 22, 2021, FERC issued an order amending the Bucks Creek Project license to
change the transmission line route and revise the project description. (Enclosure 1)
includes the updated Exhibit F-5, Plans and Section of Bucks Creek Powerhouse. This
revision reflects the shortening of the Grizzly Tap and reconfiguration of certain ancillary
and non-project features.
Please note that PG&E filed updated Exhibit F drawings for the new license on March
29, 2024, and these remain under FERC review and pending approval. PG&E
respectfully requests FERC’s review and approval of this updated Exhibit F -5.
Under the new license issued on June 16, 2022, PG&E filed a revised Exhibit A on
March 26, 2024, incorporating updates related to the Grizzly Tap project. Exhibit G was
updated through a modified drawing G‑10 (FERC Drawing No. 619‑204), filed on March
27, 2024, along with the Final Exhibit G Drawing Set and the Statement of Federal
Lands. These updates reflect the reduced length of the Grizzly Tap; no changes to the
Project boundary were proposed.
