Work is scheduled both day and night as crews continue sidewalk, drainage, and culvert improvements throughout the corridor. What to Expect: · Night work continues for sidewalk pours, curb and gutter installation, utility work, and driveway grading between Dollar General and East Gridley Road. · Electrical and irrigation work from Obermeyer Avenue to Archer Avenue. · Occasional delays are expected. One-way traffic control may be required depending on the operation. · No work is scheduled for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and construction will resume the following week. Motorists should allow extra travel time when driving through the work zone and watch for workers and equipment. Martin Brothers Construction is the prime contractor. Work is scheduled to begin as listed but subject to change due to weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, or other construction-related issues. Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
