Re:2025 Dam Safety Inspection Follow-up Action Item 1 Response
Dear Mr.Cruzen:
This is in response to a letter dated July 17, 2025,from Mr. Robert Ellis that
submitted a summary and conclusion to address 2025 Dam Safety Inspection follow-up
item 1 at Bucks Lake Dam,which is part of the Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project,
FERC No. 619. We have reviewed the submittal, and we have the following comment.
We acknowledge that the hole in question was backfilled during the inspection.
However, we understood from verbal conversations that the area would be
repaired more appropriately at a later date. Confirm your intentions regarding the
repair of this hole since your letter is different from our understanding at the time.
Also add this area to your routine monitoring to ensure no additional voids
develop.
Within 45 days of the date of this letter, address the comment above or provide a
plan and schedule to address the comment. File your submittal using our eFiling system
at https://www.ferc.gov/ferc-online/overview. When eFiling, select Hydro: Dam Safety;
San Francisco Regional Office from the eFiling menu. The cover page of the filing must
indicate that the material was eFiled. For assistance with eFiling, contact FERC Online
