I am copying an expert in this area, Alix Mayer, President of Free Now Foundation. If you have any questions I am sure she would be happy to answer them.
First of all, no vaccines were removed from the market. They are all still available. And ALL are paid by insurance.
What HHS and CDC did was to align the CONSENSUS vaccine schedule with other countries who's children have BETTER HEALTH OUTCOMES.
There are THREE schedules approved by CDC:
1) Vaccines for all (this is generally used for school mandates and is the "consensus" schedule):
11 vaccines administered in 39 doses from 2-mos to 18. 6 vaccines were moved to schedule 3 and are still available to parents who want them.
2) Vaccines for high-risk circumstances ("risk-based" such as immunocompromised, Hep B birth dose if mother Hep B positive, Hep A for travel to endemic countries, etc)
3) Vaccines given after consultation with medical professional ("shared clinical decision-making") and includes EVERY VACCINE available on the market. But isn't used for school
mandates.
Very simple. Common sense. BETTER FOR CHILDREN.
BUT INSTEAD OF GOING WITH THE CDC. INSTEAD OF A SIMPLE, COMMON SENSE SCHEDULE FOR SCHOOL, YOUR PUBLIC HEALTH DIRECTOR IS PUSHING THE MORE COMPLICATED
AND DANGEROUS SCHEDULE FROM CDPH.
WHY. Is this not something you can override?
