Re:Twelfth Independent Consultant’s Safety Inspection Report for Ponderosa Dam
Dear Mr.Moseley:
This is in response to a letter dated November 28, 2022 from Ms.Kristen
McKillop that submitted the Twelfth Independent Consultant’s Safety Inspection Report
(Part 12D Report) for Ponderosa Dam, which is part of the South Feather Power Project,
FERC No.2088. Our review of the Part 12D Report concludes that the scope and content
of the Report satisfies the requirements of Part 12, Subpart D, §12.37 of Title 18 of the
Code of Federal Regulations.The Report was found to have been prepared in general
accordance with the outline from Chapter 14 of our Engineering Guidelines that was
provided in our reminder letter dated August 19, 2021. We have completed our review
and have no comments.
We appreciate your continued efforts in this aspect of our dam safety program.If
