This renewal seeks federal approval to continue and expand key CalAIM initiatives that cannot be authorized under the traditional Medi-Cal State Plan, including modification of the asset test for SSI populations, managed care reforms, continuation of CBAS, as well as federal approval for two NEW initiatives: § BridgeCare Pilots – Targeted home and community-based services (HCBS) for older adults § Employment Supports – Designed to help Medi-Cal members overcome barriers to employment in order to maintain eligibility DHCS has posted the following materials for public comment: § CalAIM Section 1115 Demonstration Renewal Application § Public Notice § Abbreviated Public Notice How to Submit Public Comments Comments may be submitted via email to 1115waiver@dhcs.ca.gov. Please be sure to include “CalAIM Section 1115 Demonstration Renewal Application” in the subject line.
