Re:Multiple Part12D Safety Inspection Recommendations –Stability Analyses
Dear Mr.Cruzen:
This is in response to a letter dated March 11, 2026 from Mr. Robert Ellis that
submitted a request for an extension of time to address recommendations 6 and 7 from
the 2020 Part 12D Safety Inspection and recommendation 1 from the 2025 Part 12D
Safety Inspection (Comprehensive Assessment) for Grizzly Forebay Dam, which is part
of the Bucks Creek Project, FERC No. 619. We have reviewed your proposed extension
of time and grant your request to complete arch dam and thrust block stability analyses
under several seismic loading and probable maximum flood loading conditions by
April 30, 2027.
File your submittal using our eFiling system at https://www.ferc.gov/ferc-
online/overview. When eFiling, select Hydro: Dam Safety; San Francisco Regional
Office from the eFiling menu. The cover page of the filing must indicate that the
