Blackett: This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) request for an extension of time to address Recommendations 6 and 7 (20R6 and 20R7) from the 2020 Part 12D safety inspection report (dated January 2021, revised January 2022), and Recommendation 1 (25R1) from the 2025 Part 12D comprehensive assessment (dated October 2025) for Grizzly Forebay Dam, which is part of PG&E’s Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 619. Included with PG&E’s extension of time request is a reasoned basis for the request, per Title 18 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 12.40(d). PG&E submitted its original plan and schedule for addressing the 20R6 and 20R7 in a letter to your office dated March 26, 2021, and provided its most recent update regarding the recommendation on May 23, 2022. PG&E submitted its plan and schedule for addressing the 25R1 in a letter to your office dated December 29, 2025.
