Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter reports on the completion of Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) efforts to
address the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Comments 1 through 4 regarding
the cofferdam project for Poe Dam, which is part of PG&E’s Poe Hydroelectric Project, FERC No.
2107. PG&E received FERC’s comments in a letter dated February 14, 2024, and provided a plan
and schedule for addressing the comments on April 5, 2024.
Summaries and conclusions of PG&E’s efforts to address FERC’s comments are enclosed with
this letter (Enclosure 1). An updated technical memorandum prepared by PG&E’s consultant on
the anchor design for the bypass gate bulkhead is provided in Enclosure 2. PG&E has reviewed
the consultant’s technical memorandum and concurs with the information presented therein.
PG&E believes Comments 1 through 4 have been satisfactorily addressed based on the
information enclosed with this letter and no further action is necessary. Should you have technical
