Extension of Time Request

Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) request for extension of time
(EOT) to address Recommendation 3 (R-3) from the 11th 5-year Part 12D safety inspection
report (dated January 2021) for Bucks Diversion Dam, which is p art of PG&E’s Bucks Creek
Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 619. Included with
PG&E’s EOT request is a reasoned basis for the request, per Title 18 of the Code of Federal
Regulations, Section 12.40(d).
PG&E provided its most recent EOT regarding R-3a in a letter to FERC dated May 24, 2024,
that extended the assessment completion date to July 15, 2024. PG&E received FERC’s
acceptance of its May 24, 2024, EOT in a letter to PG&E dated July 11, 2024. This EOT
request and reason for the request is enclosed with this letter (Enclosure 1).
