Good evening–
As you may have heard, the fire is approximately 392,480 acres with 18% containment. Work
continues in preparing for repopulation and preparing to move forward into recovery preparations.
The LAC will be opening next Monday and will be open for the next two weeks. Other EOC functions
are maintaining a status quo at this time including the shelter at the Neighborhood Church and the
small and large animal shelters. The number of people in the shelter continues to drop with the
repopulation of more areas in Cohasset.
The Butte County website has been updated with Park Fire specific information for the LAC, Re-entry
information and CalFire Structure Status Map. You can access it by clicking on the Park Fire Info
banner at the top of the home page.
This evening the EOC will be going virtual and will be back in person tomorrow morning.
