Hi Butte County Supervisors
My name is Jessica and I’m reaching out from the Community Engagement and Policy team at GoFundMe.
Our hearts go out to the communities impacted by the recent wildfires. I wanted to let you and your office know
what our team is doing to assist the wider community and share some helpful information for your audiences.
To make it easier to help those affected, GoFundMe launched a centralized hub housing all verified fundraisers
related to the wildfires, which will continue to be updated by our Trust & Safety team. GoFundMe has also
mobilized our dedicated crisis response team to monitor the platform for fundraisers created to help individuals,
families, and businesses affected.
If it is helpful, I'm also including social posts we've added so that the broader public can support those in need.
