Good afternoon –
Today we were notified that the state will be mission tasking Department of Toxic Substance Control
to do phase 1 household hazardous waste removal for the Park Fire. We have meeting with the state
next week to work out details and anticipate messaging in the community by the end of next week.
The County will have no share of cost for this work. More to come next week, but wanted you to
know that we are seeing progress.
