Blackett: This letter reports on the completion of Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) efforts to address the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Comments 1a, 2, and 3 (C-1a, C-2, and C-3) and presents plans and schedules to address Comments 1b, 1c, and 1d (C-1b, C-1c, and C-1d) regarding an erodibility assessment to support the spillway rehabilitation project at Bucks Diversion Dam (or Lower Bucks Dam), which is part of PG&E’s Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 619. PG&E received FERC’s comments in a letter dated July 24, 2024. Summaries and conclusions of PG&E’s efforts to address FERC’s C-1a, C-2, and C-3 along with plans and schedules to address C-1b, C-1c, and C-1d are enclosed with this letter (Enclosure 1). An updated erodibility assessment in response to FERC’s C-1a, C-2, and C-3 is included for FERC review (Enclosure 2). Additionally, a technical memorandum supporting the erodibility assessment is enclosed for FERC review (Enclosure 3). PG&E has reviewed the consultant work products and concurs with the information presented therein. PG&E believes C-1a, C-2, and C-3 have been satisfactorily addressed based on the information enclosed with this letter and no further action is necessary.
