The closure is scheduled for September 10 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. During this time, crews will be using two cranes to set and place the precast girders for the new bridge deck at Bear Creek, part of the $58.8 million project to restore and elevate the roadway. The Cresta project will elevate the roadway by 5 feet and fortify the embankment to prevent future flooding. This project, which began in February 2023, is expected to be completed by summer 2025.
