Commission Seeks Input on Potential Modifications to
Commission Policies
Greetings,
This notification is revised to correct broken links identified in the bulletin
sent by the Commission last Friday, September 6.
The California Fish and Game Commission invites you to review and
propose revisions to any of five Commission policies currently under
consideration for revision:
1. Code of Conduct
2. Planting Fish in Youth Camps
3. Youth Fishing Programs
4. Research
5. Naming Installations (proposed new name: Naming Protected
Areas)
The policies are under review as part of a broader, multi-year effort to
review and consider revisions to all the Commission’s policies, including
“through a justice, equity, diversity and inclusion lens and a tribal lens.”
To view current policy language for the first four policies, potential
revisions to the Naming Installations Policy as proposed by staff,
information on the Commission policy review process, and how to
provide comments, please visit https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx?

Sincerely,
David Thesell
Deputy Executive Director
