Subject: Reminder: Direct Notification Fund Meeting 9/13
Good morning,
We hope you’ll join a special online briefing on Direct Notification Funding, taking place on Friday,
September 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. During this session, you'll learn how your County
can access funding to support Direct Notification outreach services, helping eligible Medi-Cal and
CalFresh recipients learn about affordable internet service subscriptions.

The California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), in partnership with the California Public Utilities
Commission (CPUC) and the California State Association of Counties (CSAC), is offering support for
counties to reach eligible households and close the Digital Divide. This briefing will provide
information on how counties can obtain funding for Direct Notification outreach services to Medi-
Cal and CalFresh recipients, helping them transition to lower-cost Internet plans as the Affordable
Connectivity Program (ACP) ends.
