Regarding Agenda Item: Appointment in Lieu - Paradise Recreation and Park District. .ATTENTION: This message originated from outside Butte County. Please exercise judgment before opening attachments, clicking on links, or replying.. It has come to my attention that the vacancy on the Paradise Recreation and Parks Department Board may be filled by an appointment by the County Board of Supervisors. With that in mind, I believe it is truly time for that Board to become representative of the communities it serves, and not just the Town of Paradise. Please consider the appointment of Magalia resident John Stonebraker to fill this vacancy. Since meeting John during the formation of the Upper Ridge Community Council after the Camp Fire, I have admired his passion for the regeneration of the Ridge and his willingness to educate others with factual details. Whatever the mission, John always delivers with consistency and commitment. I have witnessed his growth in collaborating with others and listening with compassion to others who may have an alternate viewpoint. John not only brings his talent to the position, but also an assortment of community members willing to assist and support him in a variety of ways. Thank you for your consideration of this matter and as always, your service to our community. Joan S. Coffin Magalia Resident URCC Executive Committee Member Sent from my iPhone
