To whom it may concern,
My name is Lori McCoslin, Recreation Specialist for the Paradise Recreations and Park
District. I am writing this recommendation letter for Mishawn Delgado, who has been a friend of
mine for the past 20+ years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to observe Mishawn
closely and have been thoroughly impressed with her abilities and achievements as well as her
desire to help those around her.
Mishawn has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and an elevated level of
commitment to her community and those that live within it. She is a quick learner and has a
keen ability to adapt to new situations and challenges. Her dedication to excellence is reflected
in her passion to help the children in her community and her ability to go above and beyond
what is expected. Examples of her community ties include Board Secretary of Paradise
Playdium, Board of Paradise Piranhas, Parade of Flags Committee, as well as President of
Paradise Ridge Youth Soccer Club and District 6 Cal North Soccer.
Apart from her compassion and dedication, Mishawn possesses excellent interpersonal skills
and can work effectively in a team environment. She is a natural leader and can inspire and
motivate others to work towards a common goal. Her cheerful outlook and effective
communication skills have also been instrumental in her ability to build strong relationships with
colleagues and community members.
Based on my experiences working with Mishawn, I believe she would be an asset to any
organization or program, and I am confident that she will excel in any role or opportunity she
pursues. She is lucky enough to have the support of many within the community around her as
