Blackett: This letter reports on the completion of Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) efforts to address Recommendation 4 (R-4) from the 11th 5-year Part 12D safety inspection report (dated October 2020) for Bucks Storage Dam, which is part of PG&E’s Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 619. PG&E submitted its original plans and schedules for addressing R-4 in a letter to your office dated December 31, 2020, and provided its most recent letter on June 13, 2024. A summary and conclusion of PG&E’s efforts to address R-4 is provided in (Enclosure 1) of this letter. PG&E’s consultant completed an analysis of the Bucks Storage Dam low-level outlet tower, which is provided in (Enclosure 2). PG&E has reviewed the consultant’s report and concurs with the information presented therein. PG&E’s memorandum summarizing the technical details and results of the analysis is provided in (Enclosure 3). PG&E believes R-4 has been satisfactorily addressed based on the information enclosed with this letter and no further action is necessary.
