Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) request for extension of
time to address Recommendations 3 and 6 (R-3 and R-6) from the 11th Part 12D safety
inspection report (dated January 2021) for Bucks Diversion Dam, which is part of PG&E’s
Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No.
619. Included with PG&E’s extension of time request is a reasoned basis for the request,
per Title 18 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 12.40(d). PG&E provided its
original plan and schedule regarding R-3 and R-6 in a letter to FERC dated April 1, 2021,
with its most recent correspondence in an August 1, 2024, letter to FERC.
This extension of time request and reason for the request is enclosed with this letter
(Enclosure 1).
