“It’s about Dr. Jessica Ee—a 34-year-old former model and dermatologist in Singapore. InAugust 2023, at age 32, she suffered a massive ischemic stroke that paralyzed the left sideof her body, leaving her unable to move her left arm or leg, with her face drooping on oneside. Just two months earlier, in June 2023, she’d had a warning transient ischemic attack(TIA, or “mini-stroke”) during dinner with friends, when she suddenly went mute for about10 minutes—her mind racing but no words coming out—before recovering.”
